Fresh Garden Salad

The ingredients of this garden salad are loaded with proteins, vitamin A, folic acid and fiber. Here is a perfect blend for the garden salad recipe.

For the creamy celery dressing
  • 2 tbsp thick low fat curd (dahi)
  • 1 tsp skimmed milk powder
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped celery
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
Other ingredients
  • 1 cup carrot cubes
  • ½ cup baby corn, cut into roundels
  • ½ cup bean sprouts
  • 1 cup torn lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded spinach
  • 1 tbsp chopped spring onion greens
  • Salt to taste
1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, add little water and whisk it to prepare the creamy celery dressing. Pour the mixture in a bowl and refrigerate to chill.
2. Place the other ingredients in a bowl of cold water to make them crisp.
3. Drain and wrap them in a muslin cloth and place it in the refrigerator.
4. Place the lettuce in a serving platter and arrange the vegetables over it.
5. Sprinkle salt and serve with creamy celery dressing.
